Winchester Art and Music Festival

Festival opens at 10:00 am with refreshments in the Benham Gallery.  Artwork is on display.

SATURDAY, September 29th

10.00am-11.30pm -‘Colors, Rhythms & Rhymes’ art exhibition second opening at the Benham gallery and lower lobby - Handley Library (refreshments served)

11.30pm-2.00pm —‘Art, Music & Literature in the Quality of Life of Individuals & Communities’ seminar at the Benham Gallery (Handley Library)

2.00pm-2.30pm — Lunch at the Benham Gallery served by the ‘Fellowship of the Sip’

2.30pm-3.30pm — Music at the Library - performing Virginia Schweninger - outstanding professional harpist and harp teacher, Melanie Miller - very talented young singer, ukulele and electric piano player - Robinson Auditorium

4.00pm-5.00pm — ‘Movie tasting’ - sample of an extraordinary movie on the art of storytelling and a discussion - Robinson Auditorium (Handley Library)

5.30pm-7.30pm — Closing reception at the World of Healing - ‘Fellowship of the Sip’ restaurant & tea house, with live music by Michael Rubin - accordionist presenting a selection of romantic European songs
