Thank you for your interest in our Lunch & Learn Workshops. Registration for "Indian-inspired recipes" is now closed, but click here to learn about our next workshop.

Indian food is rich in flavor and nutrients because of the use of herbs and spices including ginger, coriander, and turmeric.  Many Indian dishes feature vegetables and legumes, which makes them high in fiber and low in saturated fat.  We’ll sample several dishes including a meat curry and a dal (a delicious and flavorful dish or soup made from lentils), among others.

Free and open to the public. A Program for Grown Ups in partnership with the Virginia Cooperative Extension.
