  • Always wanted to start your own garden plants, but not sure how to begin?

  • Lack space to set up grow-lights and plant flats?

  • Just plain forget to plant the seeds?

  • Winter Sowing may be the perfect solution!

Spend the last official evening of winter with us (spring starts at 12:15 p.m. on March 20!), sowing your own jug of seeds and talking gardening.

This workshop session will focus on crops like tomatoes, peppers, and eggplant which require warmer soil temperatures. Supplies provided for first fifteen (15) registrants.

Winter Sowing is an extremely simple, cost-effective method of starting garden plants and lets gardeners extend the growing season.

Registration required through the library calendar and the program is suitable for gardeners and wannabes of all experience.

Feel free to bring favorite seeds to share and trade!

If all seats are full, please sign up for waitlist and you will be notified of any new openings!
