Little Noon Music presents Madeline MacNeil

The Friends of Handley Regional Library are pleased to continue the 2018-2019 Season  of A Little Noon Music with Madeline MacNeil.

One of the best known of the Friends' programs, A Little Noon Music has been around since 1979. Madeline has returned many times to this series throughout the years. She is a treasure as a performer. She sings and tells the stories of the songs with her beautiful voice and exceptional dulcimer skills. Her goal has always been to bring listeners into the song. Her recording career began in 1983 and now includes more than a dozen independent releases.

This concert will be a mix of the standards that her fans look for every year, like Angels We Have Heard On High and In the Bleak Midwinter as well as new pieces.  For this performance, Madeline may be joined on stage by several local dulcimer players for a song.  She also plans on choosing at least one song for a sing-along. She finds joy in making music with her audience.
