How NOT to See Your Neighbors: Successful Tree screening by Sari Carp

Sick of watching your neighbor’s TV? Planting a living screen can bring you both privacy and beauty. We’ll cover appropriate trees to use, common mistakes to avoid, and how to make your tree screen an object of interest year round.

Sari Carp - After obtaining her Ph.D. in Business from New York University, Sari Carp taught and researched at universities throughout the world, specializing in behavioral finance (the study of why investors don’t do anything economic theory tells us they should). In 2014, she settled in the Shenandoah Valley, where she is renovating a farmhouse, caring for rescue animals, experimenting with her garden, and figuring out what she wants to do with the rest of her life. She writes a regular garden column in The Winchester Star, and her gardening writing has also appeared in The Page News and Courier, The Warren Sentinel, The Shenandoah Valley Herald, and The Mountain Courier.
